Extreme DUI

Higher BAC. Harsher Penalties. More at Stake.

An Extreme DUI charge can have serious and long-lasting consequences. You need an experienced criminal defense attorney who understands the law, the courts, and how to fight for the best possible outcome.

What Is an Extreme DUI?

In Arizona, an Extreme DUI is charged when a person has a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.15 or higher but less than 0.20 within two hours of driving or being in actual physical control of a vehicle.

A BAC of 0.20 or higher falls into Arizona’s higher BAC category, commonly referred to as Super Extreme DUI, and carries more severe penalties.

These higher BAC levels can significantly increase the penalties and other consequences of a DUI case.
